IMPORTANT: TakeoffTimer provides estimates only. We make no guarantees about travel time accuracy. You are solely responsible for arriving at the airport on time for your flight.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using TakeoffTimer ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provisions of this agreement. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

TakeoffTimer is a web-based tool that provides estimated departure time recommendations for travelers based on:

Flight departure times
Real-time traffic data from third-party sources
Airport security wait time estimates
User-provided preferences (TSA PreCheck, checked bags, etc.)

All recommendations are estimates only and should not be relied upon as guaranteed arrival times.

3. No Guarantees - Use at Your Own Risk

YOU USE THIS SERVICE ENTIRELY AT YOUR OWN RISK. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding:

The accuracy of travel time estimates
The reliability of third-party data (flight schedules, traffic conditions, etc.)
The suitability of our recommendations for your specific situation
The availability or uptime of the Service

Traffic conditions, weather, airport security lines, construction, accidents, and countless other factors can cause delays that are impossible to predict.

4. Limitation of Liability

TAKEOFFTIMER, ITS OWNERS, OPERATORS, AND CONTRIBUTORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

Missed flights or connections
Financial losses resulting from travel delays
Costs associated with rebooking flights
Hotel, meal, or other expenses incurred due to missed flights
Any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service

This limitation applies even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

5. User Responsibility

You acknowledge and agree that:

You are solely responsible for arriving at the airport on time
You should always verify flight times directly with your airline
You should allow extra time for unexpected delays
You should follow your airline's recommended arrival time guidelines
Our estimates are starting points, not definitive recommendations
You should use your own judgment when planning travel

6. Third-Party Data Disclaimer

TakeoffTimer relies on data from third-party services including:

FlightAware: Flight schedules and status information
Google Maps: Traffic data and travel time estimates

We do not control these third-party services and cannot guarantee their accuracy, completeness, or availability. Errors in third-party data may result in incorrect recommendations.

7. No Affiliation

TakeoffTimer is NOT affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to:

Any airline, airport, or aviation authority
The Transportation Security Administration (TSA)
Google, FlightAware, or any other third-party data provider

8. Changes to Service

We reserve the right to:

Modify or discontinue the Service at any time without notice
Change these Terms of Service at any time
Limit access to the Service for any reason

Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

9. Privacy

We do not collect, store, or share personal information. Location data you provide is used solely to calculate travel times and is not stored. Flight searches are not logged or associated with your identity.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless TakeoffTimer, its owners, operators, and contributors from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service.

11. Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

12. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

13. Entire Agreement

These Terms of Service constitute the entire agreement between you and TakeoffTimer regarding the use of the Service.
